Kamaniyanana suguṇa nidhe

Meaning:
O Lord Rama – son of King Dasaratha - Ocean of Mercy! O Treasure-chest of virtues with a lovable face!
1. As everything in this World is of Your nature only, in what way can I find fault with You or this World?
2. While the experience of true devotees is one thing, the opinion of those who do not know You is something else.
3. (Your devotees) would lovingly chant Your names and spend their time thinking of You.
4. (Your devotees) would recite Your noble deeds and, having understood Your nature, adhere to it.
5. (Your devotees) would worship You whole-heartedly and contemplate on You always.
6. (Your devotees) would yearn to behold You with their own eyes and not desire even the joy of attaining nine-fold treasures.
7. (You devotees) would declare that You exist in everything and feel proud that they are but You only.
8. (Your devotees) would remain concentrated within themselves and behold (You in) the form of saviour from the ocean of Worldly Existence.
9. O Lord Rama - benefactor of Prahlada - the great devotee, praised by this fortunate Thyagaraja!
